An Egyptian man brutally tortured his wife and locked her up upon discovering that she set up a Facebook page after he refused to create an account for her.
According to Egyptian security forces, Asmaa Samir was brutally tortured by her husband Mustafa Raafat who tied her with ropes and locked her up in their house for three days while depriving her of food and drink and torturing her using sharp tools.
During the interrogation, Raafat said his wife opened three accounts using fake female names, as she wanted to see if he would cheat on her, adding that he punished her by beating her up. He denied reports that he had starved her.
Many women rights organizations called for the man to be tried after a medical report revealed that he had severely injured his wife.
Several lawyers also said they are willing to represent the victim pro bono, while many Egyptians took to Twitter to voice solidarity with her and called on the Egyptian attorney general and relevant authorities to imprison Raafat...

How do you look at this woman and hand your body over to her to work on? Are these women blind or what?
A transgender woman dubbed the "Toxic Tush" doctor has been jailed for using Super Glue and Fix-a-Flat tire sealant to enlarge women’s behinds and causing one patient to die.
Oneal Ron Morris, 36, was sentenced to 10 years Monday in Florida’s Broward County court after pleading guilty to manslaughter and injecting several women with the toxic mixture, CBS Miami reports.
Shatarka Nuby, 31, died after receiving as many as 10 injections from Morris between 2007 and 2010. She paid Morris as much as $2,000 for the deadly procedures.
“There’s no closure. Putting [Morris] in jail won’t bring her back,” said Nuby’s aunt Juanita in court.
Morris, who is not a licensed doctor, combined silicone, mineral oil, Fix-a-Flat tire sealant, cement and Super Glue to give women shapelier backsides.
She previously served a year in prison on related charges. Several of her patients were in court for her latest sentencing, saying they became sick after receiving the bogus injections, which they believed were actually medical-grade silicone.
“You gave us your word that the products you was using was A-1 products. And come to find out they were not,” said victim Kisha Jones. “Maybe in the beginning, but greed really took over, because you was pocketing the money from every victim."

Omg! Gang war leaves one person dead in Mushin

New crisis broke out on Monday between touts at Alamutu and Akala streets in Mushin, Lagos, leaving one person dead and scores injured.
The fight, as gathered, was a spill-over of Sunday’s fight, following an interruption of a candle light procession by Alamutu Boys.
A resident, Kayode told Vanguard that “the two groups used to be together until Alamutu Boys pulled out. They used to form a gang to fight other people around Mushin and Somolu. But the Alamutu Boys complained that they were not being treated fairly when sharing money and other things. That was why they pulled out. But in this case, Alamutu Boys were having a candle light procession for one of their own, a conductor, who died in an auto crash on Sunday. The team had barely reached Alamutu Street when they were attacked by Akala Boys".
“Gunshots rented the air, with both sides using dangerous weapons freely. Innocent passers-by were robbed. People sustained injuries on both sides. We learned that some people died".
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the death of one person saying,
“The police responded to a distress call of a clash between two gangs. A dead body was recovered in the process.”

Nigerian students on Greater Noida, India attacks "We are living in fear"
March 28, 2017
No comments
Nigerian students and other African nationals living in Greater Noida say they face daily prejudice and are living in fear after two days of violence targeted at them following the mysterious death of a local youth.
The students allege political pressure behind the attacks amid rising tensions between local residents and the foreigners.
“We come to India to live in peace but we will not be bullied by force or violence. The need of the hour is for African students to unite against this blatant racism," said Lawrence, a Nigerian national.
The violence broke out on Sunday after a Class 12 student Manish Khari died because of a suspected drug overdose. Locals alleged that Africans living in the area had plied the youth with drugs and attacked two Nigerians on Sunday night. Police also arrested five Africans but released them later because of a lack of proof.
A day later, a protest march by residents turned violent as people assaulted several Africans at Greater Noida’s busy Pari Chowk. Rumours startled swirling that residents had abducted a Nigerian woman – a speculation denied by police. The waves of violence have left the foreigners rattled.
Most of the victims of the mob attack were doing their evening shopping near Pari Chowk, oblivious to the undercurrent of anger against AfricansPolice arrested five people allegedly involved in the violence. More are likely to be picked up.
Foreign minister Sushma Swaraj has asked for a report from the Uttar Pradesh government about the violence
"We have been living in a sense of fear as there is no protection for us even after the attack,” said Bukola, a commerce student at IEC college.
Lawrence said the attacks were well-planned.
"We had assembled at Kasna Police station on Monday morning demanding the release of two students who had been arrested without proper investigation. As soon as the duo got bail and we left the spot, several African nationals were attacked by the local people, said Lawrence.
Greater Noida circle officer Abhinandan said:
“This behaviour of people giving a racial tone to an issue is not acceptable. Some anti-social elements joined the peaceful march and resorted to violence. We have videotaped the events and will book each one of them.”
Monday’s attack reflects a growing intolerance against Africans in New Delhi and its satellite cities. At least six Africans were wounded in three separate incidents in Chattarpur area of south Delhi in May last year, prompting external affairs minister Swaraj to take up the issue with home minister Rajnath Singh.
The attacks on the African youth, mostly from Nigeria, happened less than a week after a 23-year-old man from Congo was stoned to death by three people in Kishangarh village near Vasant Kunj.

In this disturbing video that has emerged amid rash of racist attacks on Africans in Greater Noida near Delhi, a man is kicked, punched and beaten with steel dustbins by a large group at a mall.
The footage, apparently filmed on a mobile phone at the Ansal Plaza in Greater Noida, has been shared on Facebook by the Association of African Students in India.
A black man is seen curled up on the floor, trying to block with his arms the repeated blows from the mob, which thrashes him with stools, bins and whatever the attackers can grab hold of. No one tries to help the man or stop the attack that appears to take place in the middle of the mall's ground level.
The video was apparently taken from a hidden point on the first floor.
After at least three reported incidents targeting African nationals, senior police officer Dharmendra Kumar told the media that security has been provided at hostels and colleges.
Many African students study in universities in Greater Noida, a township right next door to the capital. See the video below...
Update! Nigerian student assaulted by mob in India says no one came forward to help him
March 28, 2017

The Nigerian national who was assaulted in Greater Noida has said that no one helped them while they were being beaten up and claimed that he had no clue why he was assaulted.
"We don’t know why we were assaulted, the mob hit us with rods, bricks and knives.
We asked people around for help, but not one called the police. Even our colleagues did not help," said the Nigerian national as quoted by ANI.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has assured thorough investigation and action over the incident. The UP government has said that a report will be provided to the Centre on the incident soon.
"Attack on Nigerian students is a serious issue. Proper probe will be done. Report will be provided to Centre at earliest,” said UP Minister Siddharth Nath Singh.
The police have filed an FIR and five people have been arrested in connection with the assault on the Nigerian nationals in Greater Noida on Monday.
It all began when Manish Khari, a Class 12 student in Greater Noida, died, reportedly of drug overdose on Friday. It was reported that the boy was last been seen with five Nigerian students who lived in the neighbourhood.
Soon after the rumours spread, the locals raided their home and also accused them of being cannibals. The five Nigerian students were booked for killing Khari and were later released after the questioning.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj intervened into the matter on Monday night and sought a report from the Uttar Pradesh government over the attack on the Nigerian national. She also spoke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the incident.
Meanwhile, Khari’s family insists that the police file murder charges against the Nigerian students. Nigerian students have been protesting against murder chargers and have held mass demonstrations. “Black lives matter,” “We demand justice,” and “Skin tone is not a crime” were some slogans that were heard outside the Kasna police station in Greater Noida during a protest on Sunday.
Ghanaian Police Commissioner grants interview on Tonto Dikeh and Churchill's case, spills more secret (watch video)

Following the long heated social media exposed marriage crisis of controversial actress Tonto Dikeh and her estranged husband, Olakunle Churchill, the media that interviewed them, has further travelled to Ghana over references from the couple in their interviews. Tonto Dikeh claimed she suffered domestic violence at home and subsequently ran to the Nigerian Embassy in Ghana naked for safety.
The Media Room Hub reporter Azuka visited the Ghana Police and the Embassy to further investigate claims from both couple and present facts to the public especially with regards to the status of those involved in society. This is a must-watch video which exposes the false claims and counter accusations that bedeviled the much talked about marriage bouhaha.
A Police Superintendent, Joseph Oppong, who was part of the team that investigated the case between Tonto Dikeh and her husband, Olakunle Churchill, spilled more secret as he was interviewed by a Mediahub correspondent.
According to Supri. Joseph, an incident was reported to them on June 5th, 2015, by Olakunle Churchill, who alleged that Tonto Dikeh destroyed properties in his
house in Accra, Ghana. He went further to disclose that CCTVs, televisions alongside other household properties were found destroyed, when they got there. He also alleged there were eyewitnesses who confirmed the incident.
The Policeman alleged that the fight was caused by some women Tonto allegedly spotted her husband with when they got to Ghana on that faithful day, and told him not to
come back to the house. Mr. Olakunle who went to sleep in a hotel, didn't come back the next day as he went out with some friends. This marked the beginning of destruction of properties in the house by Tonto Dikeh, by 3a.m on that day. He further alleged that those present at the scene of the incident, stopped Tonto Dikeh from destroying more properties before the Police got there.
He also alleged that Tonto Dikeh who looked haggard when they took her to the Nigerian embassy in Ghana, laid a complaint against her husband at the embassy. The Ghanaian Police Superintendent, also disclosed that Tonto Dikeh who was arrested by her husband, was also bailed by him (Churchill), as he wrote a withdrawal letter on the case, telling the Ghanaian Police that he will like to settle the matter with his wife amicably.
He concluded by saying that his men were not bribed by both parties, as they have a detailed document on the case.

Hilary Nnamdi Okoli and 34-year-old Reena Basumatari were arraigned in a Gurgaon court on Tuesday and taken on four days' police custody.
According to Times Of India, in the first week of February, Mr Okoli met Pooja (name changed), an engineer working with a reputable company in DLF-3, on a matrimonial site where he posed as a prospective groom. He introduced himself as Jeff Dennis, an engineer settled in the UK.
As Pooja found Okoli's 'profile' interesting, they exchanged phone numbers. Soon they started interacting through WhatsApp calls. Both shared information about their family background. She asked Okoli to visit India and meet her parents, to which he gave his consent.
On February 28, Pooja received a call from Okoli informing her that he had reached Mumbai. Minutes later, Pooja's phone rang and this time it was from a man, who claimed to be from the customs department, informing Pooja that Okoli had been detained as he was carrying 45,000 pounds (Rs 37 lakh approx) in cash. He asked her to deposit Rs 42,000 as penalty after which Okoli would be released and given 5% of the total amount in cash, the rest would be credited to her bank acccounts.

Omg! Massive sinkhole suddenly appears on busy road and almost swallows bus carrying 21 passengers
March 28, 2017

When next you want to wish for the floor to open up and swallow you, just know that it's not exactly impossible for that to happen as can be seen with what happened in China on Friday.
A passenger bus carrying 21 people escaped by seconds the tragedy of being swallowed by a massive sinkhole which appeared all of a sudden on a busy road in Nanning Guangxi, China.
In the heart-stopping clip, a car can be seen passing by after which a part of the road sunk all of a sudden creating a huge hole just as the passenger bus was approaching. Luckily, the driver stopped just in time.
A camera inside the bus shows the bus shaking with the driver desperately accelerating over the collapsing road with only seconds to spare.Luckily, nobody was injured and that part of the road was later sectioned off and concrete was poured into the sink hole.
Sinkholes are quite common all over the world, especially in the U.S. These holes open up suddenly without any sign or warning and people have in fact become victims and fallen into these holes.

Obasanjo’s Wife Seeks To Stop Son’s Wedding

The wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mrs Taiwo Obasanjo, on Monday, filed a suit at an Ikeja High Court, seeking to stop the wedding of her son, Olujonwo Obasanjo, scheduled for May 11.
Ex-President Obasanjo and the father of the bride, Sir Kessington Adebutu, promoter of Premier Lotto known as “Baba Ijebu” are respondents to the suit.
Mrs Obasanjo, who is the twin sister of Chief Kenny Martins, the former Coordinator of the Police Equipment Fund, is seeking a postponement of the wedding of her son, Olujonwo to Tope Adebutu scheduled for May 11 and May 12.
She wants the wedding to be fixed for a date after June 1.
Olujonwo and Tope had an elaborate introduction on Dec. 17, 2016.
Obasanjo, among others, is seeking a court declaration that as the mother of the groom, she had the rights to take part in the deliberations, decisions and activities leading to the forthcoming ceremony.
According to her, wedding invitations have been sent out and she has been excluded from the preparations for the ceremonies.
She said she also received prophesies and warnings from men of God to the effect that Olujonwo, her son who turns 34 on June 1, should not do or be involved in any elaborate celebration before his birthday.
The woman wants the court to compel Adebutu and Obasanjo to shift the wedding to a date after June 1 after she had appealed to Adebutu and Mrs Rosemary Dacosta, the mother of the bride, Tope Adebutu, the bride-to-be as well as Chief Kenny Martins.
Justice Lateefa Okunnu has fixed April 10 for hearing of the suit no. ID/262FPM/2017.
Lobatan! Burglar Gets Stuck On Fence With His Trousers Down
March 28, 2017

A suspected thief was reportedly arrested in Tucson, Arizona, on Friday after he was spotted in a rather unusual position: dangling from a fence by his trousers. Witnesses said the hapless fellow had been seen trying to open some doors at Miles Elementary School at around 10.30 on Friday morning. There were no pupils on site at the time due to the school being on holiday.
When the man realised he'd been spotted, witnesses say he tried to clamber over the school's spiked fence - but slipped, snagged his trousers on the fence, and ended up hanging upside-down on the fence with his trousers at half mast.
Passerby Jesse Sensibar saw him hanging there and took a photo, which he later uploaded to Facebook saying: "One more reason not to jump fences in baggy pants. "I saw this homie hanging around at the Miles School this morning when I was rolling eastbound on Broadway Avenue. I was going to help him off the fence but by the time I got back around the block the cops were rolling up two cars deep.
"I don't know what his story was but it must not have been good enough, fifteen minutes later when I went back by the other direction going home he was cuffed up in the backseat. He smiled for the camera."

See What US Airline Did Girls Dressed Like This To Airport
March 27, 2017

United Airlines incurred social media outrage after barring two teenage girls wearing leggings from boarding its flight from Denver in Colorado to Minneapolis on Sunday. Officials said the teenagers did not meet a dress code for special pass travelers, stirring a furore on social media.
The two girls, who were traveling with a companion, would not have been turned away for wearing leggings had they been paying customers, United spokesman Jonathan Guerin said as the airline responded to the backlash.
“(The two girls) were instructed that they couldn’t board until they corrected their outfit. They were fine with it and completely understood,” Guerin said, adding that all three passengers missed the flight. He did not know if they had boarded a later plane or made alternate travel arrangements.

Although the three passengers did not complain about their treatment, another traveller , Shannon Watts, who overheard the discussion touched off a firestorm on social media with a series of tweets describing a policy she suggested was unfairly targeting women and girls.
“This behavior is sexist and sexualizes young girls,” Watts said on Twitter. “Not to mention that the families were mortified and inconvenienced.”
United pass travellers are typically company employees or their friends or family members.
Watts’ tweets and United’s defense of it touched a raw nerve for many women and girls who have made leggings a staple in their wardrobes.
