Nigerian singer, Banky W reveals more about the woman he wants to marry...video

In an Interview shared by Channels TV, singer BankyW listed some major requirements his future wife must have. According to him;

• She must have some ambition. Whatever it is that you choose to do, be ambitious in that. Have something that you are going after. I don't want a stay at home woman. A woman that has nothing going on. Whatever it is. You don't need to be a billionaire, you don't need to be making a lot of money, just have something you are working on.
• A love for family and a love for God are very important to me because I am a very family oriented guy. I'm very into my family time and I want a woman who's about that as well.
• Friendly... because I have friends from all walks of life. I don't only relate with one sort of person. So I don't want somebody who is only comfortable in ratchet places or boujee (high class) places. You have to be able to cross the divide.
• I like to cook, so my wife doesn't really need to know how to cook. I'm cool with that. It is more important to me that you are skilled in the other room (laughs) than in the kitchen.
• Personal development. Education might not be necessary but personal development is. You never stop learning even if it is not in a classroom. So have that drive to develop yourself.

Speaking in a recent interview, Prince Okojie said Mercy is his best friend and being married to her has been sweet and blissful...

"Prior to our marriage, I’d known my wife for three years; we actually met in 2008. We started living together in 2009 and we got married in 2011. Watch confession of Housemaid hired from Cotonou accused of stealing N5m from her bossx

Kumenu Tope Samenu, pictured above, a housemaid hired from Cotonou, has confessed on camera to stealing hard currencies from her boss' room in Lagos. In a video shared online, the alleged thief confessed that while her madam was out of the house, she would use a spare key to gain entrance into her room and steal her money which is usually in Dollars and Pounds.

Tope then opened a bank account where she keeps the proceeds from her stealing. At the time she was caught, she had stole as much as N5 million. She allegedly also stole pounds from the bag of a visitor to the home.

Nigerian student dies in the United States after his car plunged into a river (Photos)

A Nigerian student identified as Ebenezer Tosin Oloba, 23, died after his car veered off the highway and plunged into the San Antonio River in Texas, US on Saturday, February 25th.

Tosin, a student at Texas A&M University-Kingsville TAMUK, was coming from the University and was headed for a student government conference in College Station, Texas, when the fatal accident occurred.
He and one Oscar Felipe, 19, a fellow student riding in the car with him, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

See What Really Happens To Nigerian Girls Travelling To Europe

Nigerian women are being trafficked to Italy hoping for a better life – but often end up working the streets as prostitutes.

Their plight has been highlighted by Paris-based photographer Elena Perlino, originally from Italy, who began to notice the presence of young African women working on the streets during her commutes from Turin.

She said: ‘I decided to start from this surreal vision to tell a story. I have been working on the topic for several years, focusing mainly on the Italian connection.’

Traffickers demand on average more than 50,000 euros (US $60,000) for travel expenses and accommodation, with the women having to work as prostitutes until their debts are paid off. As Claudio Magnabosco, former official of the European Parliament, explained: ‘The women are still coming: they are younger than ever and arrive here with massive debts to pay off.

‘They are forced into prostitution and are now increasingly reinventing themselves as madams or working for the traffickers, also trafficking men, children for adoptions and organs and drug dealing. ‘These are the activities of the powerful Nigerian mafia, which is also involved in arms dealing. What has changed is that the madams are now less violent towards the girls, having understood that if they mistreat them the girls run away: the girls forced into the sex industry now get to keep a little of the money they earn and this makes their lives a little bit more tolerable. ‘As they cannot find a real way out, they get used to life as prostitutes and prostitution becomes their only source of income.’

Eighty per cent of women trafficked to Italy come from Benin City, Edo State, in south Nigeria.

The photographer explained: ‘My work attempts to show a complex phenomenon that crosses Italy from North to South.
‘This involves many cities including Turin, Milan, Genoa, Rome, Naples and Palermo and thousands of Nigerian and Italian people.’
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime declared Nigeria among the top eight countries with the highest human trafficking rates in the world. See more photos below...

Omg! Nigerian lady's corpse discovered on a dumpster in Abia state...

The corpse of a lady was discovered at Ihie Bridge through Isi court Amakama in Umuahia south LGA of Abia state by residents yesterday Tuesday February 28th.
