**Says Acts of Misconduct will throw you out of the force.
Apparently disturbed by reports of professional misconduct reaching his table, even from among Command Police Commissioners, Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris has read the riot act, warning that he would not hesitate to flush out any CP involved in acts of misconduct.
While urging the Commissioners of Police to conduct themselves professionally and handle criminal cases diligently, IGP Idris said, “I expect the highest standard from you. Don’t let anybody buy your conscience. Hold your own; I want you to be very professional,”
Confirming the warning in a statement, Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood said the IGP made the statement at a meeting with DIG’s, AIG’s and CPs.
He emphasized that any act of misconduct could throw them out of the force.
Assuring that the Federal Government was ready…
