Ekiti needs home-bred governor to succeed – Ambassador Dare Bejide

Ambassador Dare Bejide
A previous Nigerian High Commissioner to Canada, Dare Bejide, has said Ekiti State has not seen similar advance since it has not delivered a home-reproduced senator since its creation in 1996.

As indicated by him, it is troublesome for anybody that lived outside the state to know the issues of the general population and meet thier desires.

Bejide talked in Aramoko Ekiti on Thursday at a meeting with individuals from the Peoples Democratic Party on his governorship desire.

The previous Secretary to the State Government regretted that the gathering in Ekiti had been surpassed by outsiders and impostors who had made life troublesome for individuals.

He stated, "Ekiti has not delivered a home-reared representative since its creation. As a home-reproduced man who has lived among you, I know the issues.

"As an attorney, I would not disregard the law on the grounds that the Independent National Electoral Commission has not lifted ban on battle. At the fitting time I will meet the general population and reveal to you my program."

Bejide guaranteed to end exemption in the gathering in the event that he turned into the governorship applicant.

"I have offered myself for benefit since I have the experience. I'm prepared to lead the best approach to recover our gathering from the grasshopper. You will choose your own councilors at your wards; it won't be in Ado Ekiti," he included.

The Director General of Ambassador Dare Bejide crusade association, Dr. Kunle Folayan, scrutinized the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, for announcing his Deputy, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, as his successor when the gathering primaries had not occurred.

"That some individual some place raised the hand of a man as his successor is sheer pomposity. With you the general population behind us we will arrive."
