Amb. Set out Bejide, a previous Nigeria Ambassador to Canada and previous Secretary to Ekiti State Government who is likewise a gubernatorial cheerful in Ekiti State, on Wednesday seventeenth January, 2018, paid an affability visit on Otunba Gani Adams, the National Coordinator, Oodua Peoples Congress(OPC), in his living arrangement in Lagos, to praise him on his establishment as the fifteenth Aare Ona-Kakanfo(Generalissimo) of Yorubaland by his Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 11, the Alaafin of Oyo Kingdom. 

Amb. Set out Bejide who complimented the feeling of judgment of Oba Adeyemi to have singled out Otun Gani Adams for this regard authentic position, portrayed Otunba Gani Adams as a pride to the Yoruba race. 

He stated, "the establishment of Otunba Adams as Aare Ona-Kakanfo has demonstrated that his(Adams) endeavors at guaranteeing that the way of life, convention and authentic legacy of the Yorubas survive the trial of time, has not gone unrecognized". 

Otunba Gani Adams who expressed gratitude toward Amb. Bejide for the visit, guaranteed to secure the pride of Yoruba custom. The Aare Ona-Kakanfo is the General Commander and Head of Yoruba war Chiefs.
